Return & Exchange Policy

Returning or Exchanging an item is easy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it using one of the options below. Please note that items returned must be received within 7 days of the shipment delivery date and that the items are in their original condition, meaning that the items are unworn, unwashed, without alterations, and have all tags attached. We are unable to provide returns under the following circumstances:

  • Products that are damaged due to negligence towards Wash Care instructions not being followed as per the wash care label
  • Undergarments, accessories
  • Products bought from our partner stores and other marketplace websites reserves the right to deny a refund if the item does not meet its Return Policy guidelines. We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects.

Return Instructions

You can raise a Return Request for your item by following the steps below:

Go to Customer Service Section/ Contact Us Section and leave your details, we will get in touch with you within 24 hours for the same. Returns are typically picked up from the original delivery address within 2 to 4 business days. Please ensure your package is ready to be picked up. Securely pack your return items in their original packaging, making sure any old packing labels are removed or covered and the package is sealed. Hand over the parcel to our shipping partner. If you miss your return pickup, one more attempt will be made to pick up your return package on the following business day. After the second failed attempt, the return request will be cancelled. Usually, in such circumstances, the executive will try to reach you on your registered mobile number. As soon as we receive your return, we will proceed with the return check and validation. Once the return has been approved, we will notify you by email, and your refund will be credited within 7–12 working days. If your return is not approved, a member of our Customer Care team will be in touch.


Refunds will be made to the mode of payment originally used for the purchase within 7–12 working days. Please note that refund payment times are dictated by the issuing bank and are outside our control. Please consult your bank for more information. There are no charges for returns in relation to the original product cost. French Theory will bear the return or exchange courier cost only ONCE per order. The return or exchange courier cost is to be borne by the customer itself in case of more than one returns or exchanges in the same order; hence, we request that you please check your size and the other details carefully to avoid any additional cost on the purchase. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds through cash or cheque. If an item is returned that does not comply with our Returns Policy, we will not approve and process the refund. We reserve the right not to return an item that does not comply with our Returns Policy. Please contact our Customer Care team to inquire about the validity of your return if you are unsure.

Refunds for Cash on Delivery will be provided in terms of the Gift Card. Validity of the gift card will be for 1 year from the date of issue.

Item Damage During Shipment

If you received an item that was damaged upon arrival, please contact our Customer Care team immediately. You have the right to a full refund on all shipments that arrive damaged, provided you inform us within 24 hours of receiving the package and share proper images and videos of the sealed parcel. To return an item, please follow the Return Instructions. Once the item is received, we will assess and validate it. If approved, we will refund the purchase price of the damaged item to the original mode of payment.


The product exchange policy is 7 days from the date of delivery. To raise an exchange, you can Go to our customer care section/contact us and get in touch for the same. If the new product value is higher, the balance amount will be charged to the customer. In the event that the value of exchanging products is lower, the difference amount will be provided as a French Theory gift card, which can be used to shop for future orders.

We currently accept India-issued debit and credit cards, net banking, Mobile wallets, COD, and UPI.

Should any unauthorised charges appear on your credit or debit card or bank account as a result of shopping with, please notify your credit card provider or bank in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Please note that French Theory will never ask a customer to confirm any account or credit details via email. If you receive an email claiming to be from French Theory asking you to do so, do not respond and contact our Customer Care team immediately.


All prices shown are inclusive of GST in Sale & Non Sale and inclusive of any delivery costs. Products and prices that are offered in offline events might not be offered online, and vice versa. From time to time, we may offer additional discounts for purchases made on our website that do not apply offline events, and vice versa.
